ReportMail 8.0 is an online hosted application. That means there is no burden on your own internal IT systems. The only thing you need to run ReportMail 8.0 is an internet browser so the set up time is minimal and you won’t need any help from your IT department.

ReportMail (8.0) runs on .NET 3.5 on a SQL 2005 database. All code is C#.

ReportMail uses AJAX to update sections dynamically without the need for the page to re load, you can watch your reports update in real time, or watch your emails being sent.

We use tools from Infragistics to add themes and layers to the .NET architecture.

Our mail server is called Hurricane and as the name suggests it’s pretty fast. In testing it was capable of sending 1 million emails per hour. It’s manufactured by the boffins at Socketlabs who have also produced email solutions for Microsoft and AOL. It lets us refine our email throttling and bounce handling at a higher level.

Our servers are hosted by Clara.Net where we have over 900 gigabytes of storage.
